Mallie & Monroe

A few weeks ago, well a month to be more precise, a great friend of mine over at Lindsey's Whimsy's  had her baby so Monroe and I had to go meet her.

Here they are at there first playdate.
Lindsey and I are convinced that they are going to be BFF's so why not forge the bond now?!

Don't they both look SO thrilled...

Many fun times to come I'm sure!

Baby Jack & Monroe

We went to see Mike's sister Lisa and her new baby, Jack this weekend. He looks so much like Langston did as a baby.

Langston wasn't so sure about holding him.

Keddie on the other hand couldn't get enough. He LOVES babies and always has.

I can't find the pic I took of Monroe and Jack, but he makes her look huge . Their birth stats were almost the same. I'm having a hard time with her being 3 months old today.

I'm sure it's because I know she is my last baby but I am not ready for her to not be a baby.

Everything old is new again

I am completely in love with these name necklaces that are all over right now- Very Carrie Bradshaw- and I love the monogram version.
I may have to start dropping some Christmas gift hints to the hubby..

Recently I was digging through a drawer of old jewelry looking for I can't even remember what and came across this gem.

Now THAT is vintage.

I immediately was overcome with a mix of joy and sadness. My dad got me this when I was younger and man did it make me miss him.

I fully intend on getting a chain for this gem and sporting it soon...

So starts the countdown to reality

Not that my life lately hasn't been real, it's been super real, but 7 days until "REAL" life starts back.
Back to work, back to school, back to daycare.

I am sooo ready for the back to school part, these two rambunctious boys that call me mom are driving me back to work, but this sweet princess over here- well her and I could just hang out forever.

This last week- seven days really holds a lot of to-do's that need to be done. Man, it's times like this that I wish I wasnt such a procrastinator...

-finish getting school supplies
-finish cleaning out boys closet/ drawers with too small clothes
-wash and put away new school clothes
-haircuts for the boys since they've been boycotting all summer
- laundry (never done...ugh)
-pack for trip to watch hubby's race (more on that later)
-get all Monroe's stuff together to take to childcare on Monday (tear...)
-figure out if I have work clothes that will fit this post baby body

Certain there's more because like I said, I procrastinate...
and I WILL be back to the blog-

I wish SuperWoman wasn't just a character in a movie!

Meet Monroe

Meet Monroe Aaron Ramsden

She was born on June 4th at 2:05 pm after an induction and about a five hour labor.
She weighed 7 lb 7 oz and was 19 in long.
She is my perfect princess and I honestly feel like my family is now complete.

The past five weeks have flown by with my family visiting and trying to adjust to being a family of five.

I feel like I am slowly starting to come out of the new mom fog so hopefully I will be back to more regular updates soon.

The end (or beginning rather) is near!!!

The end is near!

It is 5:40 a.m. at my house and I can't sleep, again.
I was doong my nightly blog hopping and thought I would leave a little update.
I went to the Dr. this week for my 39 week check up (can I get a woot woot), and we decided to set an induction date. :)
I am over the moon excited to be almost done with being pregant- for all my wishing it was different- I HATE being pregnant, the only joy in my mind is the sweet bundle that you get in the end.
AND MY END IS NEAR!!!
We scheduled the induction for Monday morning at 5 AM...less than 48 hours from now people, we will get this ball rolling!

I can not wait to meet little Miss Monroe Aaron and finally have her here to love and cuddle.

I will try and update semi regularly...I said try people...
