The end (or beginning rather) is near!!!

The end is near!

It is 5:40 a.m. at my house and I can't sleep, again.

I was doong my nightly blog hopping and thought I would leave a little update.

I went to the Dr. this week for my 39 week check up (can I get a woot woot), and we decided to set an induction date. :)

I am over the moon excited to be almost done with being pregant- for all my wishing it was different- I HATE being pregnant, the only joy in my mind is the sweet bundle that you get in the end.

AND MY END IS NEAR!!!

We scheduled the induction for Monday morning at 5 AM...less than 48 hours from now people, we will get this ball rolling!

I can not wait to meet little Miss Monroe Aaron and finally have her here to love and cuddle.

I will try and update semi regularly...I said try people...

Baby Shower & Name Reveal (finally!!)

This past weekend was my baby shower.

I have been looking forward to it for several months now and it turned out so great!

And just in case you haven't been paying attention throughout the pics,

our little Miss does have a name...

We finally decided her name will be

Monroe Aaron Ramsden

Monroe is a name that I fell in love with some time ago, and Aaron is after my brother that passed away a couple of years ago.

35 weeks

My sister and my hubby have brought it to my attention that I REALLY need to do some updating, so here goes.

I had a bunch of pics from my phone that I was going to upload and share but for some reason it's not letting me save them to the computer.

So Sorry.

I am 35 weeks today and am way more impatient about her impending arrival than I should be.

(I know I have five more weeks, you dont need to remind me)

Yesterday I started having contractions in the late afternoon and got my hopes up, turned out to be just Braxton Hicks :(.

We have been busy getting things ready for this little girl:

-my sister Teresa came and helped me clean out the closet in her room

-Mike has been refinishing the furniture

-and painting her room

-my shower is this weekend and I am super excited

-and Langston asks me every day if she is ready to come out yet (so cute)

and the best part is that I DO have pics of all of it, I just am having technical difficulties...

Fabric for baby girl's room

I finally found the 3rd fabric for the bedding...

It came in the mail to my sister's house yesterday and I am excited that the colors actually match. I was soooo nervous since I ordered it online.

Her and a friend are going to work on the bedding this week.

I am so excited to see it all come together!

Spring Cravings

I have been having some new spring cravings I thought I would share.

I am still craving Ice Water like CRAZY, which if you know me is crazy. I have super sensitive teeth and normally can't stand ice cold beverages.

Here is my solution-insulated plastic cup w/ straw (Just happened to get this snazy Starbucks one as a gift) now the cold doesn't directly hit my teeth...Genius!

Not to say that I am over my cravings of fresh fruit and veggies but I have definitely ventured out...to ice cream or Drumsticks rather. I could eat five a day (I won't, but I could!)

And at two days shy of 30 weeks pregnant, I am getting uncomfortable and hot! I know it's only March and I don't want to image May heat, I may break into a sweat just thinking about it. I think I may need a Maxi dress or two to help me through the home stretch...

I love Spring and the beautiful weather it brings.

Pregnant Pains

I am fully aware that I am a huge baby when it comes to being pregnant.

I am not one of those women that love it- in fact, the only thing I even remotely like (ok, love) about being pregnant is the baby that I get at the end.

This being said, I have been in alot of pain lately which explains my lack of posts.

Sciatic nerve pain which to me is the worst. To find relief I must lay down (which makes it hard to be productive) or stand up (which doing for too long makes me dizy and lightheaded, another problem in itself).

So this weekend and for many days now I have been lying down as much as possible.

My poor hubby.

The weekend wasn't all bad, I did manage to register for my shower (FINALLY) and I snuck in a movie with some girls.

We saw The Hunger Games and I LOVED it!

here's hoping I can find at least some small relief soon...

26 Weeks

Today is 26 weeks..14 (or so to go)...

I had dinner last night with two of my besties, Abby and Sarah. Sarah is also pregnant so we had a little belly fun.

In defense of my hugeness, I am 8 weeks ahead of her and she will quickly pass me up once those twins start growing. We had such a good time catching up at dinner, it was exactly what this preggo needed

This week in my pregnancy...

The books say the baby is now the size of an English hothouse cucumber (really...can't they make a comparison people can understand) or almost 2 pounds and about 14 inches long.

-I have had really bad hip pain this week and apparently look pretty funny when I walk.

-I don't want to eat anything.

-I am constantly thirsty for ice water.

-Sleeping has been pretty hit or miss this week (probably because of all that ice water).

-I have had more energy this week than I have probably since I found out I was pregnant. I will enjoy it while it lasts.
